It is important to us that the first transition from home to nursery is a smooth one, particularly for new parents, so we offer settling in sessions to all our new families which take place 2 weeks prior to their start dates.

Our aim is to provide a real home from home environment, we provide all the child’s nappies, wipes, formula milks, meals and drinks. Our cook specifically cooks to each babies individual requirements and is actively involved in their weaning process alongside you as parents.

Outdoor Areas

Every child has access to regular outdoor play sessions in our risk-asessed outdoor areas. Our 2 areas are safe, planned and resourced specifically for fun and learning in all weathers. Outdoor play is important to us as it allows children to test out new physical skills, discover and explore, use their imaginations and begin to understand about nature and science. One of our play areas is specifically layed with low impact surface to ensure young children and children who are learning new phyaical skills can be kept safe. We also have an area which is large enough for riding bikes, playing football, prachue games etc. Our practitioners plan purposefully activities for ourdoor play and provison for all areas of learning is provded.

Twice a week our football coach Dave from Little Kickers comes into our setting and all children from as old at 2 take part in sessions which develop their physical development and team work.

We do ask that all children have an all in one waterproof, wellington boots, suncream and appropriate clothing for all our weather types as we do go out in sun rain and snow.
